Central Java's Exports in February 2025 Increased by 5.35 Percent
Central Java's exports in February 2025 increased by 5.35 percent compared to exports in January 2025, rising from US$965.33 million to US$1,016.98 million. Likewise, compared to February 2024, exports increased by 10.25 percent.
Oil and gas exports experienced a 116.15 percent increase, from US$15.98 million (January) to US$34.54 million (February), while non-oil and gas exports increased by 3.49 percent, from US$949.35 million (January) to US$982.44 million (February).
Central Java's import value in February 2025 reached US$1,189.45 million, increasing by US$307.97 million (34.94 percent) compared to January 2025. This was driven by a 213.95 percent increase in oil and gas imports to US$388.62 million, while non-oil and gas imports decreased by US$80.65 million (11.52 percent).
Central Java's total trade balance in February 2025 recorded a deficit of US$172.47 million, driven by a deficit in the oil and gas sector, while the non-oil and gas sector recorded a surplus. The oil and gas sector experienced a deficit of US$535.72 million, whereas the non-oil and gas sector achieved a surplus of US$363.25 million.
