In accordance with Presidential Decree No. 39 of 2019 concerning One Indonesian Data, BPS plays the role of data supervisor. One of the principles implemented in One Indonesian Data is Statistical Data Standards (SDS). So the data produced by data producers must meet Data Standards
Tuesday (23/7), the Pati Regency BPS Sectoral Statistics Development Team was a resource person in sectoral statistics development organized by the Pati Regency Communication and Information Service.
The event was opened by the Secretary of the Pati Regency Communication and Information Service, Abd Aniq, attended by 30 participants from data producers within the Pati Regency Government.
In his speech, Aniq advised all data producers to always collaborate with data guardians and statistics supervisors in carrying out statistical activities in their respective agencies.
The coaching material was delivered by the Pati Regency BPS Sectoral Statistics Advisory team (Sri Rejeki and Erlina Susanti) regarding Statistical Data Standards. Data standard components include concepts, definitions, classifications, measurements and units which must all be explained. Regulations on data standards refer to BPS regulation no. 10 of 2023 concerning statistical data standards as a replacement for BPS regulation no. 4 of 2021.
The purpose of statistical data standards is to serve as a reference in data collection, sharing and data integration through fulfilling standard concepts, definitions, classifications, measurements and units.
With this guidance, it is hoped that the implementation of sectoral statistics in OPD will improve and provide maximum results in order to realize one data in Pati Regency.
