Caretaker Head of the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), Amalia Adininggar Widyasanti together with caretaker Principal Secretary of BPS, Dadang Hardiwan, attended the Ministerial Coordination Meeting on the Discussion of the National Social and Economic Single Data (DTSEN) at the Coordinating Ministry for Community Empowerment (PM) Building, (13/1). The coordination meeting was chaired by Coordinating Minister for PM, Muhaimin Iskandar and attended by Minister of State Secretary of the Ministry of State Secretariat, Prasetyo Hadi; Minister of National Development Planning/Head of Bappenas, Rachmat Pambudy; Minister of Social Affairs, Saifullah Yusuf; and Minister of Administrative Reform and Bureaucratic Reform, Rini Widyantini.
The meeting discussed the progress of the DTSEN draft, which is a data matching effort instructed by President Prabowo Subianto. Coordinating Minister for PM, Muhaimin, said that the DTSEN program is an effort to synergize data between government agencies. Muhaimin also stated that the latest Presidential instruction will soon be issued to serve as a strong legal umbrella for the DTSEN policy.
Caretaker Head of BPS also conveyed the progress of the integration from the data that had been provided to BPS. “So, from DTKS, P3KE, and Regsosek, we have summarized and updated the data from Dukcapil and several other data sources. Updating this data will be important to ensure that the social assistance distribution program will always be right on target,” Amalia concluded in a press conference held after the event.
