Located at the New Merdeka Hotel Pati, BPS Pati Regency held Susenas MSBP and Seruti Officer Training Quarter III 2024 for 3 days, 4-6 September 2024.
The training was opened by the Head of BPS Pati Regency, Bob Setiabudi and attended by 35 participants (organic BPS and statistical partners) with instructors Wahyu Rini Astuti and Sri Yulani Adam.
The National Socio-Economic Survey (Susenas), referred to as the "Mother of Survey", is a source of household socio-economic data that has an important role in producing social and economic indicators, including poverty, Gini Ratio, Human Development Index (HDI) and other indicators.
Susenas MSBP is a routine survey conducted by BPS every three years. The Quarterly Household Economic Survey (Seruti) is a household-based survey which is an integration of three surveys, namely the National Socio-Economic Survey (Susenas), the Special Quarterly Household Consumption Survey (SKKRT), and the Special Survey of Household Savings and Investment (SKTIR). Seruti itself aims to collect household economic data to see household consumption patterns in each quarter.
In his speech, Bob advised officers to work seriously from the start to the end of the implementation, adhere to the schedule, according to the SOP, and always prioritize the quality of the data produced. When collecting data in the field, officers must be able to take photos as they are according to conditions in the field.
We hope that the implementation of Susenas MSBP and Seruti in Pati Regency will run smoothly, be completed on time and produce quality data.
