As a sectoral statistics development agency, Central Java Province BPS realizes Bureaucratic Reform (RB), One Indonesian Data, and a National Statistics System that is reliable, effective, efficient and collaborative by holding Provincial Plenary activities in the Context of Harmonizing the Results of the Sectoral Statistics Implementation Evaluation Assessment (EPSS) 2024. This effort is being made to support the availability of quality data in government agencies.

Endang Tri Wahyuningsih, as Head of Central Java Province BPS, in his speech stated that the aim of EPSS is to measure progress in implementing sectoral statistics, improve the quality of implementing sectoral statistics, and improve the quality of public services in the field of statistics. From this goal, the output of the Statistical Development Index (IPS) will be obtained, which is an indicator for the RB General Evaluation and One Data Indonesia Assessment.

This activity, which was carried out at the Harris Hotel Sentraland Semarang on 13 - 14 August 2024, was attended by the Agency Assessment Team and the Regency/City BPS Sectoral Team as supervisors of the Regional Government Organization (OPD) which organizes statistical activities in each district/city. The commitment and contribution of all parties is the key to success in the successful implementation of sectoral statistics. This activity is expected to equalize perceptions of assessment, as well as explore suggestions and input for continuous improvement.
