On 27 - 30 May 2024 BPS Pati Regency carried out the 2024 Agricultural Economic Survey (SEP) Officer Training. The training was carried out using a hybrid method where online classes were held for 2 days (27-28 May 2024) and offline classes (face to face) for 2 days (29-30 May 2024) at New Merdeka Hotel Pati, with instructor Ika Maulina Aditia.
In this offline class, SEP learning materials are still provided to training participants. Next, role playing is carried out, which is practice/learning interviews with respondents for data collection activities in the field, and finally participants do a post test.
SEP 2024 is a continuation of the 2023 Agricultural Census series which was carried out in June-July 2023. SEP 2024 aims to obtain data on economic aspects (income, expenditure, cost structure) as well as indicators of the level of welfare of agricultural business units. Data obtained from SEP 2024 will be important material for formulating development policies in the agricultural sector and providing quality statistical data for data users.
Through this training, it is hoped that officers can understand the concepts and definitions used in implementing the 2024 SEP, so that the data collection process can run smoothly and produce quality data.
At the end of the training series, prizes were handed over to the best participants and then the training was closed by the Head of the Pati Regency BPS Agricultural Statistics Team, Karyadi.
