Monday (27/5) BPS Pati Regency held the 2024 Agricultural Economic Survey (SEP) Officer Training which was held online and offline on 27-30 May 2024. The event was opened by the Head of BPS Pati Regency, Bob Setiabudi, attended by 23 participants and guided by regional instructor, Ika Maulina Aditia.
In his direction, Bob said that the Agricultural Economic Survey (SEP) was a continuation of the 2023 Agricultural Census (ST2023) activities which were held to measure the welfare of farmers. In this survey, the characteristics of agricultural businesses, income and expenses of agricultural activities, etc. will be collected.
Bob advised all field officers to always maintain health, be serious in carrying out their duties, understand the concept of definition, adhere to the schedule and SOP that have been determined.
In Pati Regency, the number of officers is 20 people (PCS 15 and PMS 5) with a sample of 74 BS. Each officer gets a workload of 4-5 BS. The SEP implementation schedule will take place during June 2024
Ultimately, it is on the shoulders of field officers that the quality of SEP data is initially determined. Hopefully the implementation of the 2024 SEP in Pati Regency will run smoothly, be completed on time and produce high quality and accurate agricultural economic data.
