Blood Donation to Celebrate the National Statistics Day 2014

On September 17, 2014, BPS Statistics of Pati Regency held a Blood Donation event in cooperation with the Indonesian Red Cross Branch of Pati. This activity is one of a series of activities to enliven the National Statistics Day celebration on September 26, 2014. A total of 20 employees including the Head of BPS Statistics of Pati Regency participated in the blood donation as a form of caring for others, especially in helping to meet the need for blood in the Pati Regency. The Head of BPS Statistics of Pati Regency, Sri Wiyadi, appreciate these activities and encourage employees to donate blood so that this activity can be carried out regularly every three months in the future.

                After having blood donation, participants were given a donor card and foods such as noodles, milk, and bread. In addition, PMI (Indonesian Red Cross)  will also provide the results of blood tests that include HIV, Hepatitis B and C, and Syphilis. Thus, donor participants know the disease early in their body for free.
