Abstract

In August 2024, year-on-year (y-on-y) inflation in Rembang Regency will be 1.41 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 108.90.

Y-on-y inflation occurred due to an increase in prices as indicated by an increase in all expenditure group indices, namely: the food, beverage and tobacco group by 1.07 percent; clothing and footwear group at 2.22 percent; housing, water, electricity and household fuel group at 0.01 percent; equipment, tools and routine household maintenance group of 1.71 percent; health group by 1.35 percent; transportation group by 0.90 percent; the information, communication and financial services group had deflation of 1.55 percent; recreation, sports and culture group at 5.69 percent; education group at 1.09 percent; food and beverage/restaurant provision group at 3.05 percent; and the personal care and other services group at 4.54 percent.

The month to month (m-to-m) inflation rate for Rembang Regency in August 2024 is 0.03 percent and the year to date (y-to-d) inflation rate is 0.13 percent.
