The Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) of Pati Regency held the Training for Household Basic Commodities Survey (VBPNRT) Enumerators in 2025 offline on August 26–27, 2025 at Café and Resto W & T Pati. The training was officially opened by the Head of BPS Pati, Bob Setiabudi, and attended by PML officers from BPS staff as well as PPL officers from statistical partners. The training was guided by the instructor Sri Rejeki from the Sectoral Statistics and Social Media Team of BPS Pati.

The 2025 Non-Household Basic Commodities Consumption Survey aims to estimate the volume of non-household basic commodities consumption by type of commodity (such as rice, sugar, oil, flour, fresh fish, meat, eggs, and salt) and by type of business entity (such as food stalls, hotels, restaurants, processing industries, and other institutions).

In his remarks, Bob emphasized that non-household basic commodities consumption data plays an important role in providing accurate information on consumption patterns, as well as serving as one of the foundations for government policy formulation in maintaining national food security.

He also reminded all enumerators to carry out their duties responsibly, ensure the quality of the data produced, and strictly comply with the SOPs and schedules that had been set.

During the two-day training, participants received materials covering the concepts and definitions, survey instruments, procedures for filling out questionnaires (both listing and enumeration), interview techniques using CAPI (Computer-Assisted Personal Interviewing), as well as the use of the FASIH Mobile application for field data collection.

It is expected that the implementation of the Non-Household Basic Commodities Consumption Survey in Pati Regency will run smoothly, be completed on time, and produce accurate and high-quality data.
