Wednesday (23/04), Head of BPS Pati Regency, Bob Setiabudi attended the Simultaneous Rice Planting Movement event in Kutoharjo Village, Pati District. This rice planting activity was carried out simultaneously in 14 main central provinces and was centered in Banyuasin Regency, South Sumatra Province.
The event was opened by the Deputy Regent of Pati, Risma Ardhi Chandra and attended by community leaders, farmers, TNI/Polri, Regional Secretary, Agriculture Service, BPS, Kutoharjo Village Apparatus and other invited guests. This activity is a real manifestation of collaboration between the central and regional governments in strengthening national food security.
The activity began with simultaneous rice planting, followed by witnessing the direction of the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto. In his direction, the President appreciated the increase in rice production capacity in Indonesia.
This simultaneous rice planting activity aims to support the acceleration of national food self-sufficiency as part of the President of the Republic of Indonesia's Asta Cita, increase the additional planted area (LTT) and agricultural productivity, optimize land use by farmers, and support the economy of farmer groups and handling inflation in Pati Regency.
