BPS Again Accepts Reasonable Opinion Without Exception

“BPK provides an Unqualified Opinion (WTP) to BPS. The BPK appreciates all the efforts that have been made by Plt. "The Head of BPS and his staff regarding the fairness of the 2023 financial reports," said Daniel Lumban Tobing, Member II of the Indonesian Financial Audit Agency (BPK) at the BPS Office (16/7). The BPK submitted the BPK Audit Results Report (LHP) on the BPS Financial Report for Fiscal Year 2023. This handover event was attended by the ranks of the BPS Middle and Primary Leadership, as well as the ranks and audit team from the BPK.
The audit carried out by the BPK aims to provide an opinion on the fairness of government institutions' financial reports in accordance with Law No. 15 of 2004 and Law No. 15 of 2006. Apart from the audit, Daniel said that the BPK also acts to carry out follow-up monitoring of the recommendations given.
Responding to the WTP opinion received by BPS, Plt. Head of BPS, Amalia Adininggar Widyasanti is grateful that this WTP opinion is the 11th time received by BPS since 2012. "We are committed to maintaining this (WTP opinion, ed). "The recommendations submitted will be an important note for us," continued Amalia. He explained that BPS's efforts to maintain the WTP opinion in the 2024 financial report were to accelerate the completion of follow-up actions, complete and neatly documented financial and BMN administration accountability, improve governance, comply with regulations, and strengthen communication, collaboration and coordination.
