Can't believe it's already the end of May. This edition of JuLiStik (Statistical Literacy Friday) 31 May 2024 is still about the 2023 Agricultural Census, namely related to Urban Farming.
What is Urban Farming?
Urban Farming is one solution to meet the need for high consumption of agricultural products with increasingly narrow agricultural land in urban areas. Activities that are classified as urban farming include cultivating vegetables in city parks, building roofs or in closed spaces such as greenhouses, as well as livestock businesses.
The results of the 2023 Agricultural Census (ST2023) Phase 1 show that the number of urban farming households in Pati Regency is 61 households and the number of individual urban farming businesses is 61.
