On 2 - 31 May 2024, BPS Pati Regency carried out Village Potential data collection (PODES). Podes 2024 will be implemented in all government administrative areas at village level including villages, sub-districts, nagari, Transmigration Settlement Units (UPT), and Transmigration Settlement Units (SPT) which are still being developed by relevant ministries throughout Indonesia. Podes 2024 also covers all sub-districts, districts/cities throughout Indonesia.
The aim of Podes is to produce data on regional potential, availability of infrastructure/facilities, and socio-economic conditions in each village/sub-district. One of the indicators from Podes is the Geographic Difficulty Index (IKG).
Data collection is carried out by data collection officers from statistical partners and supervisors from BPS organics and statistical partners. The data collection method uses the Computer Assisted Personal Interview (CAPI) mode using the FASIH application.
In order to monitor the quality of the 2024 Podes data, supervision is carried out by accompanying officers in the field. This is intended to minimize errors, during interviews and how to input data in CAPI.
Active participation from local governments, at the village/sub-district, sub-district and district/city levels, will be very necessary in the 2024 Podes data collection process. The hope is that the 2024 Podes will run smoothly and produce quality regional data.
