Based on the results of Susenas March 2023, it was recorded that the percentage of poor people in Pati Regency was 9.31 percent or a decrease of 0.02 points from the position in March 2022 of 9.33 percent. In terms of numbers, the poor population as of March 2023 has decreased to 118,018 thousand people. This number decreased 0.02 points from March 2022 of 118.04 thousand people.
The poverty line in Pati Regency in March 2023 is IDR. 532,545.00 per capita per month, an increase of Rp. 45,690.00 per capita per month or an increase of 9.38 percent, compared to conditions in March 2022 which amounted to Rp. 486,855.00.
The Poverty Depth Index (P1) and the Poverty Severity Index (P2) in 2023 will experience a decline. The Poverty Depth Index (P1), is a measure of the average gap between the expenditure of each poor person and the poverty line.
P1 in 2023 is 1.64 or an increase of 0.44 points compared to P1 in 2022 of 1.2. This means that the expenditure of poor people is increasingly moving away from the poverty line (GM).
Meanwhile, the Poverty Severity Index (P2) provides an overview of the distribution of expenditure among the poor. P2 in 2023 is 0.42 or an increase of 0.16 points compared to 2022 of 0.26. This means that differences in expenditure between poor people tend to widen.
